Natalya Sots is a native of Pavlodar, Kazakhstan. She attended University of Art in Semipalatinsk from 1992 through 1997, obtaining a degree as an Teacher in Art. Natalya has been very active as an instructor of art teaching children at the Art School in Pavlodar. She has taught for 9 years. She has also been very supportive and active in many exhibitions with several of her works on permanent display in museums, private galleries, and businesses throughout Kazakhstan. After moving to Chicago, IL in 2002, she has continued to express herself in her paintings and ceramics.
Natalya is currently busy with both her own artistic pursuits as well as documenting as much of her previous work online as possible. Natalya has been selling her work at art festivals around Chicago since 2003 and online since late 2007. See her online store here.
